What I Hate About Halloween....
by konceptual99 in....is that it has totally wiped away the distinct celebration of november 5th and bonfire night.
fireworks and bonfires are still ubiquitous this time of year but it's just merged in with halloween which, whilst always being celebrated, was not as promoted and so overwhelming as it is now.. bring back the guy!.

My daughter has woken up, although she was never baptised. One of the major reasons was the way I was talked about and treated since I turned my back on the bOrg. I did not talk TTATT to my daughter, the bOrg and the loving brothers and sisters in the congregation drove her away with their vileness. -

in a really respectful, friendly manner i approached them and enquired if watchtower society had done anything about its "two witness policy" post royal commission.
knew nothing of 2 witness rule.

Post cult have learned very important lesson to actually respect (even if I don't agree) others viewpoints and their rights as fellow human beings.
I share your sentiments, I am also having to learn to accept others viewpoint, because as a JW everybody is wrong who do not accept the JW stance.

Cart witnessing! Dose this mean more accessibility to apostates?
by joe134cd ini don't know if this has been talked about before but do you think that cart witnessing has made the r&f more accessible to apostates.
why i say this is because if you think of the d2d work the only way that i could make contact with a r&f member would be if they knocked on my door or i was fortunate enough to see them walking down the road, stopped them and began talking.
if it was known that i was an apostate my address would be recorded and no further visits made.. however with the carts it is a completely different story, and it is much harder to walk away particularly in a busy street in the full view of the public.

by Esse quam videri insince the liberal government has been elected in canada, it seems that people are looking to the future with a little more optimism and hope.
it is only human nature that with change, we would think that the change would be for the better.
the courts have ruled, in canada, that it is unconstitutional to deny the homeless the right to sleep in parks.

Why don't we as exJW fight for the rights of these "bethelites and SPs, send a petition to the bOrg HQ stating that they are being unfairly treated. If the R&F get to hear about it, the Apostates are sticking up for them I am sure the CD is going to be painful.
